Sketchbook Workshop Brighton – Super+Super
28 Mar
Sketchbook workshop Brighton is a brilliant opportunity to experiment with a range of everyday materials and techniques to create a sketchbook brimming with originality, texture and colour. Over four weekly sessions, textile artist Clare McEwan will lead you in exploring mark making, 3d construction, collage, mono-printing, photography, and digital imagery development. A course celebrating trial and error, concentrating on process rather than outcome. The finished piece will be your unique sketchbook –a testament to your brave artistic self! – and creative skills to take forward.
Come armed with inspirational images, objects or text. These will be vital starting points for your book and allow you to get going immediately on week one. All making materials will be supplied but feel free to bring any papers/surfaces/fabrics you also want to work with. Bring a digital camera (phone/compact/SLR) for all 4 weeks and laptop or iPad for week 3 for editing images.

Don’t hesitate in talking to Clare if you have any questions about equipment. cfmcewan@gmail.com Follow Clare on Tumblr for course tasters.
