Another little fellow has arrived at SuperSuper HQ! Say hello to Ana. She’s blooming marvellous and is our 8th installment from the marvellous Zara Wood. Pop down and have a good stare at the exhibition if you haven’t already.

Monday is almost done and S+S wants to wish you all a lovely evening by introducing the latest Character to appear in our window…Eleanor!

The sun has finally got his hat on! Lets hope this means we can kick start a summer of creative crafting at S+S HQ.

This Tuesday morning 10am til 12pm is our monthly Mum’s Stitch & Bitch. If you are a new mum who wants to make new crafty friends or just need a little ‘me time’, pop in and have a cup of tea with us. This event is free and we encourage you to bring any crafty project along and get involved. Babies up to 12 months are welcome with their mum’s too. No project on the go? No fear! We have a stack of books and magazine to get those inspirational ideas flowing in no time.

Friday night is our 4th Clothes Swap event. Come along 7 til 9pm and swap your old threads for new kicks and enjoy a cup of tea (wine) with fashion and vintage lovers alike! Its £5 entry and BYOB. (We don’t charge a corkage) Bring your pals and enjoy a relaxed evening o’ swapping! As per usual we like to keep our swap shops as relaxed as possible! So no points system… Thats right Ladies! Basically, if you bring 5 pieces, you can leave with 5 pieces. Simple as that! (If anything is left over we will just donate to charity!)

Sunday see’s our first and greatly anticipated Letter Lounge writing event!!!! Why not mosey on down to 7 Kings Road between 2 and 4pm, have a cup of tea, a slice of cake and a scribble. The first 20 people through our door will also recieve one free first class stamp! AND its another free event. Bring along a favourite pen and some paper and indulge in that hand writing practise and send something special to a pal you haven’t seen in a while. We have a lovely interview here with Claire Medcalf of The Letter Lounge so take a peek and pop the date in your diary. Its definitely one not to be missed!

Our Creating Character’s exhibition has been filling up this week, have you met any of them yet? This window is the magical work of Illustrator Zara Wood aka Woody and is running alongside the event we are holding with here May 26th which comdines drawing and embroidery for a day of creative marvellousness! Here is Poppy one of the 11 original illustrations being created by Woody as part of her Art for All Initiative this May. These plus tickets to the event can now be found on her website. I wonder who will apprear at the HQ next!

Last Friday saw the installation and unveiling of our much anticipated window exhibition by Zara Wood aka Woody. Running alongside the Creating Characters Workshop happening May 26th Zara will be introducing a new character to the window every few days…
